Jenn & Justin's wedding day was beautiful and perfect! As they said I DO at Glazebrook Park, IL. It was a little warm but not to bad. After the ceremony we headed over to The Knights of Columbus Hall for their reception.
One of my new favorite things is asking my brides and grooms some questions to help me get to know them. I just love hearing how they met, how they fell in love, the proposal and much more.
Tell us how you first met? Who, what, when, where, why? Give us the dirty details.
We met online and had our first date at Cugino's in Florissant, MO. Our wedding marks the 2 year anniversary to the day of when he sent me the first message (we didn't plan it that way.)
When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did?, etc.
He says on our second date when I told him that I could not figure out what the song of the summer should be, he said he thought that I might be a keeper. We talked all the time and our relationship just evolved from there.
Tell us about the proposal. (Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning?, how did you feel? nervous, excited, freaking out?)
I knew the proposal was coming but wasn't sure exactly when. I had a pretty good idea when he planned a dinner at Cugino's and we hadn't been there since our first date. When he didn't propose in the restaurant, I thought that I had it all wrong. We got into the car and as I was fumbling around with my phone and the charger he handed me a box and said, "I got you something for Christmas." Since we had decided we weren't doing anything for each other that Christmas, I was pretty confused. I opened the box and attached to my ring were puzzle pieces on a key chain that said, "Your Crazy Matches My Crazy." I looked up, he asked me to marry him and I said, "well, yes!" Pretty simple, but so very us.
Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.
We truly enjoy each other's company and love doing fun things together. No matter what the adventure, we are always up for something new. He's always the first person that I want to share news with, good or bad.
Besides getting married - whats the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?
We are looking forward to spending time with our family and friends. We're going to see some people that we haven't seen in quite a while and feel blessed that they will be able to participate in our special day!
