Leslie & Michael got married at The White Mule on a beautiful spring day in April. What an awesome wedding! I just love seeing both families come together along with friends to celebrate the joining of these two along with Michael's beautiful daughters.
One of my new favorite things is asking my brides and grooms some questions to help me get to know them. I just love hearing how they met, how they fell in love, the proposal and much more.
Tell us how you first met? Who, what, when, where, why? Give us the dirty details.
We both met at work. At first I didn’t like him, I thought he was too quiet and full of himself lol. Then he threw a note to me over my cubicle. We wrote notes for days till he asked me out. I saved every one of them. There are thousands
When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did?, etc.
When he answered every text and phone call. When he asked me to come meet his friends before we even started dating. When he jumped in with both feet and asked me to jump with him
Tell us about the proposal. (Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning?, how did you feel? nervous, excited, freaking out?)
We had talked about getting married for a long time. I came home from work and he gave me a card where he wrote me a poem and a bunch of mushy stuff. The last sentence said turn around....he was on his knees with a ring
Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.
His honesty. And his memory. I can mention something in the beginning of the year and then get it for Christmas. He remembers all our talks, all the things we share. I know I can ask him about anything and always get the truth. He’s definitely one of a kind.
If you feel comfortable, share with us something silly or quirky the other person does.
He’s incredibly intelligent but calls crayons crowns. I laugh till I cry every time. He’s so smart so it’s so hilarious to hear him say crowns when he wants to say crayon. Dumb I know but it cracks me up every time.
Besides getting married - whats the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?
THE PICTURES’!!!!! Mike HATES getting his picture taken so we only have a few of the two of us. Not only will we have a bunch of us together they will be professional grade!! And our first dance.
